OverviewThe Mastercard Decision Management Platform team in Dublin have an exciting opportunity to hire a Lead Technical Program Manager with scrum experience to drive our platform strategy forward.

- Responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing the program’s release strategy.
- Assist in developing long‑range plans and strategies to achieve business growth.
- Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the implementation of applications/infrastructure.
- Ensure a successful delivery, which will include planning release lifecycle, version control management, build and development control management, change management, and risk management.
- Provide leadership and oversight on multiple complex projects.
- Provide timely, efficient communication on documented progress to stakeholders.
- Plan and execute schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones.
- Ensure overall relationship and deliverables across all projects.
- Assist in leading complex initiatives of strategic importance (e.g., cross‑functional, cross‑geography).
- Advanced knowledge of project management or software releases.
- Experience in a scrum master role.
- Familiarity with software development, technical terms and general concepts (especially UX, API's, & microservices).
- Strong business acumen; knowledge of Mastercard or the payments industry preferred.
- Advanced listening, oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship‑building and negotiation skills with a solid track record.
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and accountability.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Experience with Confluence, Rally or JIRA, Microsoft Project & Excel.
- Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution ability.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field.
- SAFe 4/5 certification is a plus.
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Pay range: O’Fallon, Missouri – $122,000 to $207,000 USD.
