RoleThe Business Operations (Biz Ops) team seeks a highly‑motivated Lead Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Mastercard’s Java and Spring Framework applications. You will mentor junior engineers, automate deployments, and maintain production readiness across the platform.
All About You – Team Specific Skills- Operational Readiness Architect – ensure application health, performance, and capacity; support pre‑launch activities.
- Site Reliability Engineering – design resilient infrastructure, perform root cause analysis, and automate alerts.
- Dev Ops/Automation – improve service lifecycle, support CI/CD pipelines, and reduce manual intervention.
- ITSM Practices – analyze platform activities and provide feedback to development teams.
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Python, or Go.
- Strong Dev Ops and configuration management skills.
- Experience with distributed systems and automation.
- Problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Passion for observability and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.
