Global Safety Director

Pacific International has been retained by a high-growth ingredient manufacturing organization for a Director, Global Environmental Health and Safety position. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping and advancing enterprise-wide safety, environmental, and compliance strategies across a multi-site operation.

This individual will play a critical role in strengthening a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and embedding best-in-class EHS practices throughout the organization. Acting as a key partner to executive leadership, this leader will drive both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational improvements that enhance performance, mitigate risk, and support long-term growth and sustainability objectives.

• Develop and execute a global EH&S roadmap that aligns with company values, supports business growth, and positions AFB in the top quartile for EHS performance.
• Oversee global regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and proactive safety, health, and environmental programs while establishing consistent standards globally.
• Build a prevention-based safety culture that strengthens risk awareness, frontline ownership, accountability, and engagement at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate across Engineering, HR, Operations, Quality, and site leaders to implement systems, training, audits, and change management initiatives.
• Use data-driven insights, audits, and incident analysis to drive improvements in EH&S processes, safety culture, risk management, and performance metrics.
• Build and lead a high-performing global EH&S team while strengthening leadership capability, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and employee engagement to support future growth.

• Bachelor’s in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership, with global and manufacturing experience
• Deep knowledge of regulatory standards and EHS systems
• Strong communicator and influencer with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
• Proven ability to analyze risk, lead change, and build cross-functional partnerships;
  Lean/Six Sigma background preferred
