Merric Millwork and Seating is a leading manufacturer in the millwork industry with capabilities including custom upholstery, metalwork, powder coating, and stone. We collaborate with clients nationwide on projects in hospitality, restaurant, sporting venue, and senior living sectors.

Position Overview

Cabinet Assemblers construct custom architectural millwork, ensuring precision and quality. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, cutting and shaping wood, and assembling parts with appropriate tools.

Job Duties /Responsibilities
  • Assemble millwork by accurately placing screws and bolts in designated holes to ensure structural integrity and to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Perform tasks meticulously to contribute to the organization s growth and maintain quality standards.
  • Identify and address repair or replacement needs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Fasten joints and subassemblies using screws, nails, or other adhesives.
  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks onto cabinets.
  • Sand and finish cabinets for a smooth, polished surface.
  • Inspect finished cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Clean and maintain tools and work area.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Manual dexterity and basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals.
  • Strong math skills, focus, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
Hours
  • 1st Shift: M-F, 6:30am - 3:00pm
