Fabrication, CNC Machinist, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Maintenance
Are you a seasoned Machine Shop Supervisor who’s ready to step out of “keeping the lights on” mode and into building something better? This role isn’t about babysitting machines or filling out paperwork all day. It’s about owning and transforming a CNC‑driven machine shop, guiding experienced machinists, and helping shape where the shop goes next. Earn up to $100,000/year and great benefits to lead a shop that supports aerospace‑grade fabrication and weldments, working with tight tolerances, real engineering challenges, and a team that knows machining
WB Industries is looking to hire an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor in O’Fallon, MO.
If you have 10+ years of CNC machining experience ,
strong GD&T knowledge, and some prior leadership or supervisory background, this is an opportunity to leave your mark on a shop ready for its next phase.
- A Shop Ready for Leadership: The machine shop has solid people and equipment, but it needs a dedicated leader. You’ll have the opportunity to evaluate workflows, machine utilization, layout, and future equipment needs—and help guide real improvements, not just talk about them.
- Technical Work That Demands
Experience:
Much of the work supports aerospace fabrication and weldments, with a mix of straightforward machining and more demanding jobs that require tight tolerances and strong GD&T interpretation. Your experience will matter here. - Respect for Machining Expertise: You’ll be leading machinists with real experience, not entry‑level operators. This environment respects knowledge, judgement, and hands‑on understanding of CNC machining.
- Competitive Salary with Growth Flexibility: Target compensation is $90,000–$100,000 annually, with flexibility for the right level of experience.
- Stable, Long‑Term Opportunity: This is a key role the company has been working to fill correctly. WB Industries is committed to finding the right long‑term leader, not a quick fix.
- Supervise and support experienced machinists and operators
- Provide technical guidance on GD&T, tolerances, and machining strategy
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and administrative shop functions
- Support aerospace‑related machining and fabrication‑driven work
- Evaluate equipment needs, shop layout, and process improvements
- Partner with other departments to support fabrication and welding operations
- Help guide the machine shop through ongoing improvement and growth
