- Build and develop a deep understanding of clients’ strategic issues, initiatives, and competitive position
- Ensure analytics efforts produce clear, compelling, actionable insights and sophisticated narratives
- Participate in measurement plan development and execution
- Follow through on scheduled and ad hoc deliverables
- Recommend and implement research supporting consumer insight gathering and strategic processes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes
- Lead, mentor, and train analysts, managers, and direct reports
- Present reports, POVs, and other materials to clients by phone and in person
- Contribute to consumer segmentation and audience identification/exploration
- Design tests measuring the incremental impact of media on business outcomes
- Manage cross-functional day-to-day tasks and priorities
- Partner with Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development, and budget/plan optimization
- Stay current on industry trends and developments through research and training
- Industry knowledge in marketing analytics and data
- Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and ROI development
- Demonstrated knowledge in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising
- Analytic skills, critical thinking, and ability to clarify strategic and operational issues related to data and analytics
- Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution
- Proven leadership ability and strong client relationship experience
- Stellar communication and presentation skills
- Ability to train and coach colleagues in business writing, presenting, conducting analysis, and project management
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
- A university degree and 5–7 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing, or digital consulting
- Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required
- Ability to work in the office a minimum of three days a week unless additional in-office days are directed
Demonstrates expertise in marketing analytics and data-driven advertising, with a strong focus on audience-based marketing, strategic insight generation, and effective communication. Proven ability to lead teams, mentor colleagues, and manage cross-functional projects while delivering actionable insights and optimizing media plans.
