Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital serves families in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties. The 102-bed hospital offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including the Siteman Cancer Center, Breast Health and Women’s Center, Cardiology Center, Neurosurgery Center, and Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

The hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Level II stroke certification. Outpatient services include physical therapy, sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on managing illness, injury, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Assesses patient preferences, values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's in Nursing
