Shift: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM | 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | Rotating weekends

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to join our day shift team at GDCP | Jackson, GA.This role is ideal for CNAs who prefer consistent day hours, competitive pay, and a structured clinical environment without the constant interruptions and stress of traditional hospital settings.

Continuing education and professional development benefits and moreindmhm#AM Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing basic patient care and support services to incarcerated patients under the direction of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and medical and psychiatric staff. This role supports both physical and behavioral health needs within a secure correctional environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support medical and mental health teams in patient care delivery
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years of CNA experience (Behavioral Health, Correctional. or ER experience)
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - State certification required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR or BLSAbility to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, including drug screen and criminal background checkindmhm#AM
