Professional Practice Specialist – Nursing Administration – Full Time

- Responsible for overseeing education, clinical competency, professional practice standards, and direct clinical support within the hospital.
- Promote excellence in patient care through staff development, evidence‑based practice, regulatory readiness, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain an active clinical presence and may provide direct bedside nursing care as needed to support staffing and operational needs.
- Serve as a resource, mentor, educator, and clinical leader for nursing staff across all departments while supporting organizational quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Current Missouri RN license.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS CPR certification required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor certification (or within 9 months of hire).
- Completion of DHSS approved clinical supervisor course (or within 6 months of hire).
- Master's degree in nursing education preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory and nursing experience.
