Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Capital Region Physicians is looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team in Jefferson City, MO. The team is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care in an acute setting. Ideal candidates have excellent diagnostic skills, a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, and the ability to think quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
PhysicianAssistant Qualifications
- Specialty certificate from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry.
- Physician Assistant licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
- Additional license or certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
- Specialty certificate from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
- Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. Must obtain a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing if changing primary state of residency.
- Additional license or certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
