Position Overview

Compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to lead our 42‑bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. Supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

• Supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations and clinical oversight.
• Mentors staff and fosters a positive collaborative work environment.
• Manages individual‑level tasks: hiring, training, assignment, performance evaluation, professional development.
• Manages staffing levels, overtime, payroll updates, and staffing needs.
• Ensures patient care planning, documentation, and collaborative care plans.
• Monitors staff hours, approves payroll, reconciles time cards.
• Conducts performance evaluations and provides coaching or corrective actions.
• Participates in budgeting, staffing, and revenue/expense management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2‑5 years clinical nursing experience.
• No supervisor experience required.

• 5‑10 years supervisory experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.
• BSN required and 2+ years RN experience required.
• Night shift (10 hour) availability; 8 pm or 10 pm start.
