Overview

The center has locations in Farmington and Bonne Terre, providing primary and secondary inpatient and outpatient services, emergency care, obstetrics, and specialized programs including oncology, infusion, wound care, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care standards.

• Promote patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participate in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Ensure proactive communication of the care plan across the continuum of care.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs per care standards.
• Assess patient preferences, barriers, values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and perform tasks safely as a safety‑sensitive position.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required.

• Licensure: RN license.

  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
