Charge Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Role

Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for overseeing a 31-bed cardiac telemetry unit.

• Responsibilities:
  Lead patient care planning and coordination, assess and evaluate patient data, develop individualized care plans, promote evidence-based practices, and improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Act as a clinical resource for nursing staff, facilitate communication within the interprofessional team, and evaluate care standards to ensure safety and quality.
• Drive professional development through participation in practice improvement, research, and community engagement activities.

RN license, minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with preferred Baccalaureate degree and 5-10 years of experience. Strong leadership, clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills are essential.

Manage unit activities, support staff, ensure adherence to standards, and foster a culture of safety and excellence. The role promotes career advancement through a structured RN career ladder, offering opportunities for professional growth and pay increases.
