Med Surg​/Ortho RN - Per Diem

Role: Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Med Surg unit, promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

• Responsibilities:
  Conducts assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, educates patients and families, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Participates in professional development and promotes a healing, patient-centered environment.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required;
  Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.

Manage patient care on a 16-bed Med Surg/Ortho unit, including assessment, planning, and communication of care plans. Engage in ongoing professional growth and contribute to a safe, collaborative environment.
