Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm every other Saturday 8am-2pm
The Pet Doctor- O'Fallon is hiring a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.

- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
- Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates
- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
- Maintainaccuratemedical records andassistwith medication dispensing.
- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
- Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
