Director, Global Environmental Health – Safety

• Develop and execute a global EHS roadmap aligned with company values
• Position AFB in the top quartile for EHS performance
• Oversee global regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and proactive safety, health, and environmental practices
• Collaborate with engineering, HR, operations, and site leaders
• Implement systems, training, audits, and change management initiatives
• Use data-driven insights, audits, and incident analysis to improve EHS processes, safety culture, and performance metrics
• Build and lead a strong EHS team
• Foster accountability, innovation, and employee engagement

• Bachelor’s in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related field
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience
• Global and manufacturing experience
• Deep knowledge of regulatory standards and EHS systems
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
• Ability to analyze risk, lead change, and build cross-functional partnerships
• Lean/Six Sigma background preferred
• Master’s preferred

Demonstrates extensive EHS leadership with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and proactive safety practices. Proven ability to develop and execute EHS strategies while fostering collaboration and employee engagement across global manufacturing environments.
