We are hiring Associate Formulations Scientist

Reporting to Formulation Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Executes customer specific color development as assigned by manager. Works under supervision with manager and scientists in the group on experimental design and execution.
- Maintains competency in up-to-date analytical chemistry, formulation techniques and chemical theory, and researches the feasibility of using this technology in the development and analysis of our products.
- Fulfills the role of a technical assistant, performing simple tasks without supervision or complex tasks under general supervision. Assists with analytical chemistry problems at R&D, plant or QC labs are beyond the scope of the plant/corporate personnel.
- Validates test methods using applicable food matrices to prove the analytical method is acceptable for its intended purpose. This may include: specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision, range, detection and quantification limits.
- Documents all experiment parameters in a notebook and writes reports in a timely manner.
- Runs equipment such as homogenizer, spray dryer and mills with training and under supervision.
