ABOUT THE JOB

You are expected to lead by example and drive store performance. This role focuses on ensuring that team members are aligned with company policies and delivering strong customer service while managing store operations. Domino's Pizza is hiring for leadership roles with opportunities to advance into higher levels of management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

  • You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
  • Set the example and follow ALL policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
  • Key areas include Staffing, Paperwork, Cost Controls, Cash Control, Food Management, Adherence to Schedule and Standards, Great Customer Service, Attendance & punctuality, Transportation to/from work, Store cleanliness, Marketing, and Profitability.

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Communication Skills

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone.

Essential Functions/Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (calculator may be used).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; good motor coordination for rapid, precise movements.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
  • Must navigate various delivery sites while carrying product.

Work Conditions

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
  • In-store temperatures from 36F to 90F and above in certain areas.
  • Possible temperature fluctuations in work areas and outdoors.
  • Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters including walk-in coolers.
  • Hot surfaces/tools up to 500F or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.
  • Delivery-related conditions may include outside weather and driving duties.

SENSING

  • Talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
  • Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces; driving requires far and night vision.

TEMPERAMENTS

The role requires the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under pressure, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Standing
    :
    Most tasks are performed while standing; work surfaces are typically 36"-48" high.
  • Walking
    :
    Required between store and delivery locations; paperwork often completed at a desk.
  • Lifting
    :
    Ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds; cases stacked to 72".
  • Carrying
    :
    Carrying items such as cans and pizzas; several items per shift.
  • Pushing
    :
    Moving trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds.
  • Climbing
    :
    Occasional stairs or ladders for price changes, maintenance; deliveries may involve multiple flights of stairs.
  • Stooping/Bending
    :
    Repeated bending at the waist during pizza assembly and stocking.
  • Crouching/Squatting
    :
    Occasional for stocking and cleaning.
  • Reaching
    :
    Continuous reaching up and down; occasional overhead reaching for oven controls or signs.
  • Driving
    :
    Deliver pizzas within a designated area; multiple deliveries per shift.

  • Computers, calculators, phones, pizza cutter, pizza peel, etc.

Driving Specific Job Duties

  • Deliver product by car to customer doors.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requires

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
