Shift Lead

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager is present, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

• Management – Work effectively with store management and crews, supervise the crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities, and communicate information between management and crew.
• Customer Service – Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank); handle all customer relations issues according to company policy and foster a positive shopping experience; maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Merchandise & Presentation – Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays and inventory for weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise, and maintain off-shelf merchandise. Reset departments following POGs.

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Part time

$16.50 – $24.00 per hour. Actual base salary depends on experience, education, geography and other factors.
