Retail Donation Attendant

Overview

Retail Donation Attendant — Ofallon Store Market center. This part-time, hourly position pays $15.50 per hour with potential monthly bonus up to $250. Travel is 0%.

• No degree required. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

• Provide positive customer service, including greeting donors, assisting with donations, and offering thanks and donation receipts or incentives.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash) per established guidelines.
• Notify management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate items.
• Maintain high quality and efficiency standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store area.
• Uphold store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Foster positive, professional relationships with team members and leadership; collaborate cross-functionally to improve communication.
• Practice safe work habits; keep aisles and walkways free of obstructions and debris.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dress code.
• Safeguard agency assets (cash, donated and purchased items); report any incidents of theft or related concerns.
• Adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, retail procedures, safety and security regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Monthly bonus up to $250
