Key Responsibilities
- Navigating and resolving account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Building a strategic territory plan aligning shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partnering with territory teammates, field teams, and home‑office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Using market and competitive knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Leveraging territory data and trends to generate insights, support pull‑through efforts, and engage customers (virtual or in person).
- Facilitating planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex challenges and collaborate across functions.
- Providing real‑time access support and working closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Using digital tools and omni‑channel strategies to personalize outreach (virtual and face‑to‑face).
- Bachelor’s degree (4‑year).
- Experience with in the last five years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar complex sales with large, geographically dispersed teams; associate level: limited prior sales experience acceptable.
- Proven high performance selling to large accounts and key customers.
- Self‑starter with analytic/problem‑solving skills, ethical leadership, and compliance mindset.
- Residence within the territory (or within 50 miles of the territory border); ability to travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license; ability to drive and fly.
- Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Understanding of patient services, market access, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling to HCPs.
Complete initial training for field roles with a dedicated training period: home study of up to 8 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week.
