Cars Commerce is a leading technology company simplifying the car buying and selling experience through its suite of platforms, including , Dealer Inspire, Accu Trade, and Dealer club.

Field Sales Account Executive – St.Louis, MO

Territory:
St.Louis, MO. Candidates must reside in the territory. The role is field‑based, quota‑carrying, and requires travel of approximately 75% of the time, primarily driving with occasional flights.

About the Role

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Act as the main point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on success, retention, and growth.
  • Sell Products & Services to existing customers.
  • Maintain relationships through regular in‑person visits within the assigned territory.
  • Respond to client inquiries and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Execute sales strategy, identify and close upsell opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and deliver insights that communicate measurable value to customers.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Cars Commerce products, services, and the digital automotive marketplace.
  • Manage pipeline with discipline—maintain daily Salesforce hygiene, track coverage ratios, forecast accurately, and apply a structured sales methodology.
  • Partner across selling and servicing roles to maximize customer value.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in media, digital advertising, marketing SaaS, or automotive solutions.
  • Proven multi‑year quota attainment; candidates must share specific figures, percentages, and rankings.
  • Strong Salesforce proficiency with rigorous daily updates.
  • Excellent planning, solutions‑selling experience with a structured, repeatable methodology (Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, or Consultative Selling).
  • Ability to conduct in‑depth sales presentations and product demonstrations highlighting ROI.
  • Proven persuasion and negotiation skills with a track record of re‑engaging stalled deals.
  • Experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to SMB or mid‑market business leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Financially motivated with a preference for uncapped, accelerated commission structures.

Compensation and Benefits

Total Target Compensation Range: $104,100–$130,150 (base salary + variable). Benefits include Medical, Dental & Vision, new‑hire stipend for home‑office set‑up, generous PTO, paid holidays, floating holiday, volunteer day, and recharge day.
