Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Vehicle Wrap Installer role based in the Greater St. Louis area. The Vehicle Wrap Installer will prepare vehicles by cleaning, measuring, taping, and marking surfaces to ensure accurate placement of graphics. Day‑to‑day work includes installing full and partial wraps, decals, and graphics on cars, trucks, vans, and fleets, using proper tools and techniques to avoid bubbles, wrinkles, and misalignment.
The role involves safely operating hand tools and heat guns, trimming excess vinyl, and performing post‑install inspections to meet quality standards. The installer will collaborate with designers and production staff, follow work orders and timelines, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Occasional assistance with sign installations, shop tasks, and basic customer interactions may also be required.
- Hands-on experience with vinyl vehicle wrap installation, including surface preparation, panel alignment, trimming, and post-install finishing.
- Proficiency using installation tools such as squeegees, knives, heat guns, measuring tools, and ladders or step stools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow templates, layouts, and work orders accurately and produce clean, professional results.
- Basic understanding of signage, graphics, or print production processes; experience in sign shops, auto customization, or related trades is a plus.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials for extended periods; capable of safely handling rolls of vinyl, panels, and related equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment as part of a small collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude when interacting with team members and clients on‑site.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to the Greater St. Louis shop and off‑site installation locations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in wrapping, graphics, or automotive customization are beneficial.
