Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician

Monday to Friday, day shift, with overtime as needed and limited Saturdays.

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts on a variety of vocational and utility trucks and equipment.
• Provide repair and maintenance to medium and heavy‑duty trucks; background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs and properly price vehicles.
• Submit all work and repair orders to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained.
• Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with diesel, medium or heavy truck, or related equipment (construction, farm, military).
• General mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, construction, farm, or truck systems.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document repair activity.

• Vocational technical school or military wheeled mechanic training (or related training).
• Three or more years of maintenance and repair of utility trucks and equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
