• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, aerifiers, sprayers, and other golf course equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Lubricate, service, and inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain precise cutting adjustments and help ensure exceptional turf quality
• Grind and maintain reel and rotary mower blades
• Keep detailed maintenance and repair records
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe equipment shop
• Monitor parts inventory and communicate repair needs
• Perform welding, fabrication, body work, and general equipment overhauls when needed
• Establish and follow safe operating procedures for all maintenance equipment

In addition, you'll assist the Golf Course Maintenance team by:

• Operating mowers and specialty equipment
• Assisting with course setup, cup changes, tee marker placement, and daily preparations
• Supporting aerification, verticutting, turf maintenance, and seasonal projects
• Maintaining equipment fluid levels and completing daily inspections
• Working collaboratively to provide outstanding course conditions for our members and guests

• High School Diploma or equivalent and mechanical training a plus
• Mechanical experience with small engines, diesel equipment, hydraulic systems, or commercial equipment maintenance
• Golf course equipment experience is preferred but not required
• Vocational or technical training in mechanics or small engine repair is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the maintenance team
• Pride in craftsmanship, organization, and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
• An interest in golf or golf course maintenance is a plus
