Belt Power LLC is a full‐service distributor and fabricator specializing in conveyor systems for the processing, manufacturing, and material handling industries. We provide high‐quality conveyor belting, components, accessories, hose and fittings, plastics, gaskets, and power transmission products—backed by responsive local service and technical expertise.

Job Summary

Belt Power is seeking a Belt Technician to fabricate, install, and service conveyor belting and related components in our shop and at customer locations. This role is ideal for a safety‐minded, mechanically inclined professional who takes pride in high‐quality workmanship and enjoys troubleshooting belt performance issues while providing hands‐on, on‐site technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, splice, and install conveyor belts and related products to specifications and safety standards
  • Perform belt inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for belt fabrication and installation
  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials to meet customer requirements
  • Document service activities, including installation details, inspections, and repair recommendations
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to support timely service delivery
  • Provide on‐site technical support and customer training on belt operation and maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Represent Belt Power professionally and build strong customer relationships
  • Participate in ongoing training on products, safety practices, and industry standards
Required Qualifications
  • Proven ability to fabricate, splice, and install conveyor belts safely and accurately
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and belt fabrication equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company and customer standards
  • Effective communication and customer‐facing service skills
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in belt fabrication, installation, or industrial maintenance preferred
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems, power transmission products, or related industrial solutions
  • Experience providing on‐site service and technical support in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of belt types, splicing methods, and installation techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain customer satisfaction through quality service delivery
  • Willingness to travel for customer installations, emergency service calls, or training
  • OSHA or other industrial safety certifications preferred
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
  • Work performed in a fabrication shop and at customer sites
  • Moderate noise levels and use of heavy equipment
  • PPE required
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and manual tool use
Schedule
  • Full‐time
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Frequent overtime, overnight travel, and occasional weekend work
