*** Key Responsibilities
***** Dump Truck Operations**
* · Safely operate dump trucks to haul materials to and from job sites
* · Transport dirt, rock, gravel, asphalt, equipment, debris, and other materials as needed
* · Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
* · Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions
* · Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, crews, and customers as needed
* · Deliver materials on time while maintaining safe operating practices
* · Maneuver trucks safely on jobsites, yards, roads, and tight work areas
* · Assist with basic jobsite support as needed when not driving
** Safety & Compliance**
* · Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards
* · Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
* · Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns promptly
* · Maintain accurate logs, tickets, inspection forms, and required documentation
* · Secure loads properly and follow safe hauling procedures
* · Follow jobsite safety rules, PPE requirements, and directions from supervisors
* · Operate safely around equipment, crews, pedestrians, traffic, and active construction areas
** Truck & Equipment Care**
* · Keep truck clean, organized, and in good operating condition
* · Monitor truck condition throughout the day and report any concerns
* · Check fuel, fluids, tires, lights, brakes, and other basic truck components
* · Coordinate with supervisors or mechanics for maintenance and repairs
* · Help minimize downtime through proper equipment care and communication
** Team Support**
* · Work professionally with supervisors, dispatch, mechanics, crews, customers, and vendors
* · Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* · Be flexible with daily assignments based on workload and project needs
* · Support safe, efficient, and productive field operations
* · Represent the company professionally while on the road, at jobsites, and with customers
** Qualifications**
* · Valid Class A CDL required
* · Previous dump truck, hauling, trucking, or construction driving experience preferred
* · Must have a clean and safe driving mindset
* · Ability to follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
* · Ability to complete inspections, logs, tickets, and required paperwork accurately
* · Comfortable driving in construction zones, yards, jobsites, and varying road conditions
* · Strong communication skills and ability to follow dispatch instructions
* · Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* · Ability to pass required pre-employment screening
** Schedule & Work Environment**
* · Typical schedule may include up to 10-hour workdays
* · Work may include local hauling, jobsite deliveries, yard work, and construction support
* · Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
* · Work around heavy equipment, construction crews, traffic, dirt, rock, and active jobsites
