1st shift - Picker​/Packer​/Unloader

Position Title:

Picker/Packer

Wage: $15.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (7:30am-3:00pm Mon-Fri)

• Unload incoming trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report findings.
• Unpack and sort merchandise by product type, customer order, or distribution requirements.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Label, scan, and stage products for outbound transportation.
• Maintain organized inventory and storage locations within the warehouse.
• Repackage products according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.
• Load outbound shipments onto trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Communicate shipment issues, inventory concerns, and operational needs to supervisors.
• Assist with warehouse organization, material movement, and shipping documentation processes.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count, sort, and verify inventory.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet productivity and quality expectations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Frequently lift and carry products weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach, and kneel throughout the workday.
• Push and pull loaded carts, pallet jacks, and product containers.
• Regularly use hands and arms for grasping, handling, packing, and sorting merchandise.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
