About This Role

The RN in Oncology/Infusion at Martha's Vineyard Hospital provides nursing services in accordance with applicable standards and established policies. This per diem role is ideal for nurses with a passion for oncology care and patient education.

• Location: Oak Bluffs, MA
• Facility: Martha's Vineyard Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem
• Pay: $39.18 - $94.48/Hourly

• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients.
• Provide written assessments of patients upon admission.
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and discharge summaries.
• Develop and communicate nursing care plans to other providers.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care according to policies.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medication instructions.
• Report patient care issues to Clinical Coordinator or supervisor.
• Coordinate unit routines and orient new staff.
• Ensure safe environments for patients across various age groups.
• Identify personal learning needs and seek opportunities for growth.

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of prior related experience preferred in various nursing specialties.

  BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire.
