Tax Accountant

Our client has been an independent certified public accounting firm for 100 years and have chosen to remain a local firm so that we can provide personalized services in the areas of accounting, auditing, taxation and other related areas to our clients. Our tax practice focuses on closely held, private businesses and their owners, but our taxation practice spans the following taxation types for both compliance and planning work:
Corporate, S Corporate, Partnership, Trust and Individual income taxes as well as Estate and Gift Taxes and Not-for-Profit entities, including Private Foundations.

Job Requirements:

Tax professional having at least 4 years of public accounting experience preparing/reviewing income tax returns, with a strong understanding of trusts & estate tax returns. Must have an understanding of recent Federal & IL tax laws for closely held businesses (primarily S Corporations and Partnerships) along with individuals. Available to discuss based on previous experience.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for either initially or developing into the firm’s primary authority on taxation of trusts & estates, as well directly working the firm’s clients. Benefits:
