Job Responsibilities- Develops an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations and competently manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
- Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals) and completes complex account reconciliations (investments, debt, industry specific).
- Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements (basic to complex). Reviews general ledger, cashflow, allocations, etc. Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds own backup.
- Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s, prepares audit work papers, tax return work papers, and other forms or items as requested by clients.
- Oversees workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supervises and ensures efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
- Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
- 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
