Payroll Administrator

Overview

The Payroll Administrator will process weekly payroll, assist team with invoice billing, and communicate on AR related items.

• Gather weekly time records from internal teams and communicate time discrepancies, prior to payroll submission.
• Enter, maintain, and process information in the payroll system, including employee hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
• Ensure employees are paid accurately, in time and in accordance with company policies, federal and state regulations.
• Audit payroll data, making corrections as needed.
• Issue, or reissue, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or employee terminations.
• Respond to payroll related questions.
• Maintain accurate record keeping in payroll/billing systems.
• Aid in communication with clients on AR related issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in payroll.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
