Bosch is seeking an indirect tax accountant with a continuous improvement mindset and excellent communication skills. The role requires mastery of US and Canadian indirect tax compliance, with responsibility for complex projects including tax technology initiatives, compliance, research, and governance. The candidate will manage tax controls, improve processes, analyze data, and implement technology. Collaboration across Tax, Accounting, Purchasing, Sales, IT, Business Units, Tax Jurisdictions, and External Providers is essential.

• Timely completion of indirect tax compliance and reporting (US state and local sales, use tax, gross receipts tax; Canadian GST; VAT; Property Tax; Unclaimed Property).
• Lead sales & use tax nexus determination, registrations, and renewals.
• Manage indirect tax payments, notices, and correspondence.
• Prepare Form W-9 and annual federal Form 1099 reporting.
• Process and manage the sales tax exemption certificate system.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to standardize and automate the indirect tax area.
• Assist in implementing policy and procedures.
• Support tax technology implementations.
• Assist with indirect tax audits.
• Provide support for all aspects of tax compliance functions, including technical research and analysis.
• Interact professionally with business units and staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years in a corporate environment or national/regional indirect tax firm.
• 3+ years of US indirect tax (sales, gross receipts tax, property taxes) compliance, audit, and research experience.
• 2+ years proficiency with indirect tax systems (Vertex), ERP (SAP), and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel functions).
• 1+ year proficiency with data analytics, desktop automation, data visualization, and AI tools.

• CPA or CPA candidate.
• Master’s degree.
• Canadian indirect tax and VAT experience.
• Strong critical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings to non‑tax stakeholders.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication skills (negotiating, interpersonal, networking, written).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
