- Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning
- Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements
- Develop and train team members
- Foster and build opportunities for clients, communities, and people
- Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings
- Perform tax procedures according to engagement size and complexity, including wealth transfer and estate planning
- Review complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA is required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA certification
- Ability to consult with clients on succession and tax planning
- Experience with tax engagements, including wealth transfer and estate planning
- Experience reviewing complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Ability to develop and train team members
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to bring solutions to clients
- Ability to work with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically
Demonstrates expertise in tax planning, including succession, wealth transfer, and estate planning, while effectively leading and developing teams to enhance client success. Holds a CPA certification and possesses extensive experience in reviewing complex tax returns for individuals and corporations.
