Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a Tax Paraprofessional to join our Tax team based in our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. This role is responsible for supporting tax filings, payments, and compliance activities by ensuring timely, accurate, and effective coordination of tax data, documentation, and processes. The Tax Paraprofessional partners closely with internal teams, including Accounts Payable and Treasury, to help maintain organized workflows, support compliance requirements, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the Tax function.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Maintaining tax filing calendars and tracking deliverables to ensure timely completion

Coordinating the preparation and submission of tax returns and payments

Managing document routing for signatures and ensuring timely approvals

Processing tax payments and supporting related reporting activities

Assisting with sales and use tax filings and related compliance requirements

Supporting responses to tax notices and coordinating with external agencies

Maintaining accurate tax records and documentation

Supporting annual filings and special tax-related projects

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
