Here’s how you can help - we are currently looking for a Claims Compliance Coordinator to join our team, rise to the challenge of empowering service, and fill a vital role in our Finance Division team. As a Coordinator, you are responsible for reviewing,auditing and processing expense claims for assigned area. You’ll also ensure compliance with Board Policy and Association procedures including the General Rules of Reimbursement, and handle all correspondence for an assigned area.
What You’ll Do:- Reviews, auditsandprocessesdomestic and international expense claimsfor international directors, district governors, etc. Ensuresclaimsare in compliance withboard policy and General Rules of Reimbursement.
Uses judgment in interpreting policy and auditing claims.
Apprises management of any significant out ofpolicyclaims. - Educates other staff on policies and department procedures.
- Documents discrepancies and requests more detailed information where applicable.
- Handles correspondence related to claims, answering routine questions.
- Ensures payments are processed and delivered to recipient accurately and within prescribed timelines.
- Process checks onBottom
Line system, machine sign accounts payable and expense claim checks, distribute checks through mail orthrough interoffice mail forin-house checks. - Maintains quality services by establishingor recommending,following and enforcing organization standards.
- Effectively communicate control evaluations and recommendations orally and in writing to address the needs of different levelsof management.
- Tracks employee and officer travel benefits that require tax reporting on Form W-2andForm 1099.Ensures appropriate departments(Payroll) are notified.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Accounting experience desired.
- Salesforce experience a plus.
- Detail oriented and strong math aptitude a must
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compensation:
Non-exempt: $23-25 hourly.
