Overview

Our successful Oakbrook Terrace dental office is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our State-Of-The-Art practice. If you are looking for a new dental home and have experience with identifying gum disease, periodontal conditions and defining appropriate treatment plans, we would LOVE to talk to you! New RDH Graduate welcome. Must be a dog lover because our guests love our therapy dogs.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership.
  • Work with a fun outgoing personality.
  • Identify opportunities to discuss oral health of our patients.
  • Relate the mouth-body connection to patients.
  • Successfully complete a Scaling and Root Planning and/or Prophylaxis.
  • Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants.
  • Review and update dental x-rays and chart note.
  • Record detailed narratives and probing depths.
  • Maintain dental equipment and x-ray machine.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
  • Ensure OSHA/HIPPA compliance.
  • Understand Teeth Whitening, Home Sleep Studies, and Sleep Apnea.
  • Knowledge of Arestin and Diode Laser Therapy is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Curve Dental, Dentrix, Mango phone system is helpful.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Anesthetic certification a plus.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Dental Hygienist.
  • Experience identifying gum disease and periodontal conditions; ability to define appropriate treatment plans.
  • CPR Certification (and anesthetic certification a plus).
  • Knowledge of dental software and systems (e.g., Curve Dental, Dentrix, Mango phone system) is helpful.
  • Ability to discuss oral health and the mouth-body connection with patients.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused team environment.

  • Tuesday 6:30AM – 1:15PM.
  • Thursday 10:30AM - 7:15PM.
