Summary of PositionThis position supports the lead teacher of the 2‑year‑old classroom, helping to create a safe, loving and nurturing environment for the students to learn about themselves, others and God. It includes prepping activities, maintaining a safe and clean classroom, assisting with potty training and diapering, and leading activities when asked by the lead teacher. The assistant works closely with the lead teacher to observe and evaluate each student’s individual needs, growth and support that may be needed.

Education:
High school diploma.

On your feet most of the day, bending, squatting, sitting on the floor frequently, and sitting on small two‑year‑old chairs while picking up and holding children.
