Assistant Project Manager - Oak Brook, IL

We’re partnered with a $400M, design-build General Contractor in Oak Brook that’s been in business for 100+ years
. This is a stable, well-respected firm with a strong backlog of work, long-standing client relationships, and exceptionally low turnover.

They’re looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily commercial
, with additional exposure to healthcare and light industrial work.

• Support Project Managers from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
• Participate in client meetings and help maintain strong relationships
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality

• 2–5+ years of experience with a General Contractor
• Experience in commercial construction (healthcare or light industrial a plus)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Construction-related degree preferred
