Job Purpose

The Engineering Verification Test Team Lead leads a team of system test engineers to validate end-to-end precision farming solutions. This role ensures integrated systems—including auto‑guidance, telemetry, connectivity, vehicle control, mapping, ISOBUS, and service—meet defined requirements and quality standards.

Responsible for test strategy, execution, and continuous improvement while collaborating cross‑functionally with software, systems, and product engineering teams. The position combines technical leadership, people management, and program execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain system‑level verification strategies for software releases.
  • Oversee development and execution of test cases for regression testing, new features, and defect verification.
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage of end‑to‑end system functionality.
  • Drive continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define test scope and priorities.
  • Support root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of system‑level issues.
  • Provide technical guidance on verification approaches and quality standards.
  • Deliver clear, data‑driven test reports and system quality metrics.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of verification documentation.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support (debugging, equipment setup, test validation).
  • Coordinate development of prototype test setups, wiring harnesses, and test equipment.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in system verification.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of system verification test engineers.
  • Define clear goals, manage performance, and support career development.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively (personnel, vehicles, equipment).
  • Support workforce planning, including hiring and skill‑gap development.
  • Manage budget planning for verification activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomics, and company standards.
  • Support and promote company culture and values in daily operations.
Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on system verification or testing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems (circuits, power distribution, signal behavior).
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
  • Experience with off‑road, agricultural, or automotive systems.
  • Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN (J1939), ISOBUS, Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with industry standards: ISO 11783 (ISOBUS), ISO 25119 (Functional Safety – Agriculture), ISO 26262 (Functional Safety – Automotive).
  • Experience with tools such as CANalyzer / CANoe, Polarion, Jira, Confluence.
  • Background in electronics prototyping or wiring harness development.
  • Previous program or project management experience.
Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $120,225 - $160,300 plus applicable bonus. Actual salaries will vary based on skill, experience and qualification.
