Salary range 110 k to 145k plus bonus depending on experience and growth opportunity

Real Estate Property Accounting Controllership to oversee a portfolio properties. This role focuses on accurate property accounting, financial reporting,annual and quarterly budgeting,forecasting, oversight of cam reconciliation and interaction with leadership regarding financials The professional will play a critical part in enhancing company-wide accounting processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and review account reconciliations at both property.

+ Oversee property accounting to ensure accounting and lease information for assigned assets are accurately accounted for and recorded.

+ Assists Company leadership by providing detailed property financial information

+ Develop and validate quarterly and annual property budgets within the company system, covering both expense projections and leasing assumptions.

+ Monitor property financial performance each month, leveraging Net Operating Income analysis against actual-to-budget results.

+ Annual budgeting for multiple properties . Oversee Cam Reconciliations, handle reforecasting and budgeting.

+ Oversee preparation and management of tenant expense recovery reconciliation billings for the portfolio.

+ Partner with management teams to review and report accounts receivable delinquencies as required.

+ Facilitate smooth communication and workflow with external auditors during audit processes.

+ Streamline and create best practices operational accounting and reporting, working closely with accounting leadership.

+ Reporting and identify portfolio performance assessments for stakeholders.

+ Serve as a key resource to leadership, providing comprehensive financial data to answer property-related questions.

+ Participate in special projects and additional assignments as needed.

+ Uphold company values and adhere to firm policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Property Accounting and Analysis Background

+

Experience with property management software yardi a plus

+ Budgeting, reforecasting lease activity, Cam reconciliations, ability to read leases

+ Strong working relationships and supervisory experience.

+ Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

+ Demonstrates integrity in decision-making and daily responsibilities.
