This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting tax professional looking to transition into industry while continuing to build on a strong foundation in tax compliance and ASC 740 provision work. In this role, the Senior Tax Analyst will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of tax areas, including federal, state, and local compliance, provision analysis, and tax planning initiatives within a multi-entity environment.

The Senior Tax Analyst will have the opportunity to leverage your public accounting background while working more closely with internal stakeholders and leadership, gaining visibility into how tax impacts overall business strategy. What you will do as a Senior Tax Analyst:- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
- Support the tax provision process (ASC 740), including analysis of current and deferred tax positions
- Perform tax research to identify savings opportunities, credits, and deductions
- Analyze financial data to support tax reporting and decision-making
- Partner with external advisors on outsourced compliance and special projects
- The Senior Tax Analyst will assist in responding to tax authority inquiries, audits, and notices
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors on tax-related matters
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts to the organization
- Contribute to tax planning and forecasting initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional projects with finance and operational teams to improve processes
- Support and mentor junior team members as needed

- Compensation is between $80,000 per year and $100,000 per year depending on experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or tax-focused roles
- CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax compliance
