Job Details
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Tax.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.Develop and manage financial systems/models and policies.Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.Develop strategies to maximize ROI and meet the company’s financial objectives.Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a strong understanding of GAAP and Revenue Recognition within a fast‑growing Private Equity Backed organization.Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.Excellent mathematical skills; ability to create and manage budgets.Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner.Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to drive profitability and growth.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
