Experience: Manager

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Details Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and Tax.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models and policies.
  • Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
  • Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Develop strategies to maximize ROI and meet the company’s financial objectives.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a strong understanding of GAAP and Revenue Recognition within a fast-growing Private Equity Backed organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
  • Excellent mathematical skills; ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to drive profitability and growth.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
