TThe VP, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) & Strategic Finance is the enterprise leader responsible for converting TOMY International's strategy and operating plans into integrated financial targets, forecasts, scenarios, and decision-ready insight. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will build a globally connected FP&A capability across regions, business units, brands, and channels and will serve as a trusted thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership team.

The role owns the enterprise planning calendar, long-range plan, annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, management performance reporting, and scenario analysis. It partners closely with regional finance leaders, the Head of Commercial & Brand Finance, Controllership and Financial Reporting, Commercial, Marketing & Growth, Operations, Human Resources, and Strategy to create one fact base for enterprise decisions.

Success requires a builder and operator who can shift Finance from primarily backward-looking reporting to forward-looking decision support, while preserving clear accountability for accounting, statutory reporting, controls, tax, treasury, and transaction processing within Controllership and related finance teams.

Key Responsibilities 1. Enterprise Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead the enterprise long-range plan, annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, and multi-scenario outlooks across regions, brands, channels, and functions.
  • Establish one integrated planning calendar, common assumptions, templates, definitions, and review governance while enabling appropriate regional and business-unit input.
  • Translate strategic priorities into financial targets, resource requirements, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Consolidate regional and functional plans into an enterprise view of net sales, gross margin, operating profit, working capital, cash, inventory, and capital needs.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias through disciplined driver-based modeling, clear ownership of assumptions, and regular risk-and-opportunity reviews.
