Child & Family Therapist (Part-Time) – $40-$55 Per Clinical Hour | Flexible Schedule
About the PracticeArdent Counseling Center is seeking a licensed Child & Family Therapist to join our expanding outpatient mental health practice. This role offers scheduling flexibility, administrative support, established referral sources, and the opportunity to build a rewarding caseload without the burden of running a private practice.
Compensation- $40.00 to $55.00 per clinical hour
- Licensure
- Clinical experience
- Specialty training in child and family therapy
- Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents
- Provide family therapy and parent coaching
- Conduct behavioral health assessments
- Develop treatment plans and measurable goals
- Complete progress notes and documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with schools, physicians, psychiatrists, and community providers
- Utilize evidence-based interventions including CBT, Trauma‑Focused CBT, Play Therapy, Solution‑Focused Therapy, and Family Systems approaches
- Participate in clinical consultation and supervision as appropriate
- Anxiety
- Depression
- ADHD
- Trauma
- Behavioral challenges
- School‑related concerns
- Family conflict
- Adjustment disorders
- Foster care and adoption issues
- DCFS‑involved families
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Active Illinois license as LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LSW
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- 2+ years of child and adolescent therapy experience
- Play Therapy training
- Trauma‑informed Care experience
- Experience working with foster care or child welfare populations
- Bilingual Spanish‑speaking clinicians
- Flexible scheduling
