About

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Project Manager to serve as the operational "glue" for our engineering and product teams. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing order to complex initiatives, ensuring that we move fast without breaking things. You will bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution, ensuring our developers are unblocked, our backlog is healthy, and our stakeholders are informed.

If you are a master of Jira, a clearer of roadblocks, and someone who thrives on turning chaos into structured delivery, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Project Execution:
Track project milestones rigorously to ensure alignment with anticipated completion dates. You will proactively identify issues or risks that could impede timelines and work relentlessly toward resolutions to keep delivery on track.
  • Own Delivery Metrics:
Manage delivery tracking and reporting. You will monitor key metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.) and regularly communicate status, progress, and health checks to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage the Backlog:
Maintain impeccable hygiene within Jira. You will ensure that tickets are well-formed, correctly prioritized, assigned, and reflect the current status, acting as the source of truth for the engineering team.
  • Translate Requirements:
Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to translate high-level business goals into clear, actionable technical assets—including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Unblock the Team:
Act as the primary coordinator for cross-team dependencies. You will enable engineers to focus on coding by chasing down decisions, requirements, and approvals needed to move work forward.
  • Facilitate Development Cycles:
Run agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. (

    Note:

While we may not strictly adhere to traditional sprints, your ability to manage these rhythms and foster team collaboration is essential).
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience:

3+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or a Scrum Master role within a software development environment.
  • Tool Proficiency:
Expert-level proficiency in Jira is . You know how to configure boards, manage workflows, and extract reporting insights.
  • Agile Fluency:
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. You know the "by the book" way, but you are flexible enough to adapt processes to fit the team’s actual needs.
  • Technical Communication:
Ability to speak the language of engineers and business stakeholders alike. You can take a vague business request and turn it into a ticket a developer can pick up immediately.
  • Problem Solving:
You don t just report on blockers; you remove them. You are comfortable chasing down answers and holding people accountable to deadlines.
