Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage claim investigations, primarily handling bodily injury claims in Texas and Illinois, including interviewing all involved parties through detailed recorded telephone statements, collecting and evaluating documentation, securing evidence, and conducting thorough searches using known industry databases.
  • Analyze obtained documentation and evidence, evaluate coverage, determine liability and extent of damages.
  • Prepare claim status reports containing claim evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and legal consultation.
  • Effectively document records, update status notes, results of external information gathering, and other relevant reports.
  • Process payment of claims.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years’ experience handling non‑standard automobile lines.
  • Must be able to commute to Oak Brook, IL office up to 3 days a week.
  • Experience handling policy coverage, claim investigation, and negligence laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, high call volume environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Active Texas license (preferred).
  • Bilingual (preferred).
  • Degree in Business, Criminology, Political Science, Sociology, or Psychology (preferred).
