International Trade Compliance Manager

International Trade Compliance Manager (ITCM)

Provides subject matter expertise on all import and export compliance matters, ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations. Leads a team of 3, oversees daily import operations, manages relationships with customs, and leads programs such as CTPAT, ISA, and First Sale Duty Drawback. Works with global teams and suppliers to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

• Manage daily import operations and resolve compliance issues with brokers and suppliers.
• Assist with new item additions, product classification, and AES filings for export shipments.
• Educate suppliers on trade data and government compliance requirements.
• Lead CTPAT, ISA, and other compliance programs; maintain Tier 3 ranking.
• Coordinate binding rulings, respond to CBP requests, and manage post‑entry audits.
• Maintain annual Import Compliance Manual and update policies and procedures.
• Oversee special projects and serve as liaison for internal and external teams.
• Manage performance and professional development of direct reports.
• Support international leadership and compliance initiatives across 69+ import countries.

• 7+ years in logistics, customs brokerage, international trade documents, Harmonized Tariff Classification, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Customs Broker license required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically and influence cross‑functional partners.
• Fluent in English;
  Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
• High level of initiative, flexibility, organization, and teamwork.
• Experience leading CTPAT and ISA programs.

• Deep understanding of U.S. and international trade regulations and country‑specific compliance.
• Experience managing import/export programs and classifying trade data (HS codes).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with vendors and retailers.

$137,700 - $175,600 per year.
