- Hybird Duration: 12-month Contract Pay Rate: $70-$75/hr on w2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager to lead capacity expansion and distribution infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering utility infrastructure projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience within utility infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of capacity expansion and distribution projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and operations.
- Monitor project progress, performance metrics, and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify and resolve project risks and issues proactively.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Engineering preferred).
- 3–7+ years of project management experience in utility infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing capacity expansion and/or distribution-related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in electric utility environments.
- PMP or related project management certification (nice to have).
- Familiarity with transmission and distribution systems.
